€250 million EuroMillions jackpot won three times in 2025
Friday 28 March 2025 · EuroMillions
€250 million is the most a EuroMillions jackpot can reach. Until 2025 no jackpot that size had ever been won. Then it was won three times in under five months.
The first came on Friday 28 March 2025, when a single player in Austria matched all the numbers. Austrian Lotteries announced the win the next day and did not name the winner.
On Tuesday 17 June 2025 the second went to a ticket sold at Clifford's Centra on Shandon Street in Cork, the biggest prize ever won in Ireland. A family syndicate claimed it in July and chose to stay anonymous. On Tuesday 19 August 2025 five friends from Île-de-France, who had decided over lunch to play together for the first time, shared the third. It was the largest EuroMillions jackpot won in France.
Before March 2025 the biggest EuroMillions jackpot was €240 million, won in Austria on 8 December 2023. Before that came €230 million in the UK on 19 July 2022 and €220 million in Tahiti on 15 October 2021.
